This eye opening film cannot be contested with. My jaw dropped, my heart stopped, I am appalled at the apparent apathy I have had for generations younger than mine that have been literally engulfed by the educational system. The statistics exposed in this film are nothing short of astonishing, provoking inspiration from the delves of your soul. They even chose Matisyahu and Bill Gates to promote the film. I mean come on, not even Steve Jobs could do that.

And it seems as though Cupid has struck again. Storming the streets with his serrated red arrows, fresh from a quiver of potential heartache and pessimism. This commercialized behemoth of a pagan holiday has become a corporate revenue for the ages, a feat for which someone should be recognized. Perhaps the charismatic Patty, the Millionaire Matchmaker? Perhaps not.

Witty banter aside, The Freshness has created just the cure for your Single’s Awareness blues, or substitutionally a benevolent evocateur for your Valentine’s Day.

So the resourceful and infamous IMDb has rated this spectacular film at a measly 7.2, someone should be fired this instant. Zach Galifianakis portrays one of the most endearing characters in the world, completely distinguishable from any roll he’s played before, mirroring that of Steve Carell’s roll in Little Miss Sunshine. If you haven’t already seen this evocative flick, get at it, then find something to get rid of that stupid grin that’s stuck on your face.

Shhhh….Download the torrent here.

Incredible new mashup from The White Panda. Considering I absolutely love Edward Maya’s recent new single, I really could not ask for me. Spread that Stereo Love.

THE FRESHNESS: FEBRUARY PLAYLIST 2011

At last, my love has come along. “Shwayze“‘s new mixtape has dropped, and oddly enough, there seems to be a guest collaborator listed. Cisco you say? No no, not the thong song. Cisco Adler, who apparently decided that he too wanted to be included in the “group” name as a separate individual. All hail reciprocity, we say. Three of Shwayze & Cisco’s tracks from “The W’s” are included on The Freshness February Mixtape, reminiscent of all the smoke and surf sounds we loved in “Shwayze” and “Let It Beat”. High-fives all around for preventing another couple of sell outs.

Although I’ve only included the single from the Big Gigantic’s new album, “A Place Behind The Moon”, you must admit the album artwork and illustration for the mixtape is pretty clutch.

“Poi Kala”- Master Tempo ft. Xristina Koletsa

Well she may sing like Shakira, but she’ll never dance like her. Regardless, this Grecian pop princess claimed the top of the European charts with this hit single. The accordion is redolent of Edward Maya’s “Stereo Love”, no?

“Anyway (Club Mix)- Armand Van Helden ft. Duck Sauce

With the perky aid of Duck Sauce, Amand has done it again. The vocal sampling in this mix is addicting, moving you to the checkerboard dance floor of the 50s. People think that trance has slowly died out…Little do they know, it’s been lurking in the underground, waiting to plague everyone with its funkalicious bump.

“Barbra Streisand” - Duck Sauce

“Barbra Streisand (Dubstep Remix)”- Duck Sauce

I really don’t have much to say about this song. Wow.

“You Used to Hold Me (APproject Remix)- Calvin Harris

Calvin Harris himself was outdone by APproject’s take on this single. The high synth sounds miraculous among fields of bass kick. Watch out for flailing arms.

“I Will Be Here (Benny Benassi Remix)”- DJ Tiesto ft Sneaky Soundsystem

When you’re listening to Tiesto, there’s really no time to slow down. Add that tempo furious beat to the evocative drop in almost every Benny Benassi song to date, and you have an sound orgasm of both shock and awe. Don’t believe me? Sure thing, see ya there.

Helplessness Blues- Fleet Foxes

Robin has really outdone himself here. The hook in the second half of the song is an incredible catharsis from the crescendo of the song. Destination: Folk Paradise. What a lovely ride.

All Die Young- Smith Westerns

Found these guys out in Chicago. Seem to be a little reminiscent of Animal Collective, mixed with The Arcade Fire. A slight bit noisy perhaps, but relaxing to say the least.

Atiba- Panda Bear

Although this track is not rumored to be included on the new Tomboy album releasing April 19th, it sure should be. It was earlier included on a B-sides/Mixtape by Panda Bear, so theoretically unreleased. Listen for those skate sounds.

Hauntin’ Me- Keep Shelly In Athens

Mirroring Massive Attack, this synthy song exudes vocal soprano samples that create a plethora of ambiance. Your controller can’t touch this.

INCREDIBLE print. I mean, are you kidding me? Who has time for this?
I feel as though I’ve been engulfed in a poisonous jungle of tumultuous fiends, all begging me to succeed from the union and join the likes of their alacritous family.
Fabulous, I say. Fabulous. The next time you see me, you won’t.
